Accessing Attachments in Dropbox from a new Computer
I keep my pdfs in a Dropbox folder. When I want to attach a link to a pdf to a Zotero item, I click add attachment, and then link to the item in the Dropbox folder. All has worked fine. Now, I have replaced my PC with a Mac. I was thinking that all my links would survive the shift, because they are still in the Dropbox folder. But there must be a different path or something that is keeping Zotero from seeing the attachments. Is there any way to solve this without manually relocating each individual pdf? Thanks very much.

gregpriestThanks for the help. I'm sure I'm being dense here, but it's not working for me. I went into preferences, advanced, files and folders and set the Linked Attachment Base Directory to the folder in which all my pdfs are stored. On my Mac, the path is Users/myusername/Dropbox/Zotero Articles. I have shut down Firefox and restarted and confirmed that the path is still there in preferences. But when I click on an attachment that I have confirmed is present in that folder, Zotero gives me the File Not Found error.

aurimasSet your base directory on the other computer as well, then sync.
