Saving to folders in Standalone

I've had huge Firefox issues lately, and am only able to add items to Zotero via Standalone (Chrome) at the moment. I can't seem to figure out how to save an item to a specific folder in Standalone. Is this truly not possible? Is there a setting I have missed somewhere along the way that would allow me to control this option?

    just like for Zotero for Firefox, as long as you're using the Chrome connector, items should save to the collection currently selected in Zotero. Are you sure that's not the case?

    And if this is in fact not working, navigate to chrome://extensions/ in chrome, go to Zotero Connector Options. Under General -> Zotero Standalone, what does it say?
