Removing tags from PDFs

I have managed to add a tag to a number of pdf files, which do not have parent items. I cannot see any way of removing these associated tags.

Does anyone know how to remove them?

BTW I managed to add the tag by dragging the file onto one of tags in the dialog box.

Select a pdf in the middle pane. In the right-hand pane your will see data regarding that pdf, including Filename, Modified, Indexed, Related, and finally Tags.

If there are no tags added to that file, then you will see [click here] next to Tags. If you click on [click here] you can add tags.

If there is already a tag, clicking on that tag opens a window. In that window you can add tags, or click the minus (-) sign to delete it.
