ScienceDirect translator small but annoying issues

I am encountering two small problems when importing from ScienceDirect.
1. _Sometimes_ an author's first name is presented as initials without periods and no spaces; sometimes the initials have a space and periods; sometimes the initials are with periods and no space.
2. Articles from recent years include "Abstract" as the first word of the abstract.

Item 1 requires hand editing because otherwise there are different versions of the author name in the Zotero database. My preference is Lastname, A. B.

Item 2 is just a minor annoyance. I prefer that when an abstract is imported into the field marked "abstract" that the first word be the beginning of the abstract instead of the word "abstract." Because I'm clearly compulsive, I remove the first word if it is Abstract or Summary. It would be very pleasing to have that done on import.

Do you have some sample links for (1)? I usually prefer not to mess with initials, because it's not always clear whether the "initials" should have periods after them (unless you know what the person's actual name is). I can take a look at the spacing issue though.

I was going to ask you (aurimas) about this, I'd be in favor of spacing out initials delimited by periods.

Oh, sorry I missed that. Yes, we can space them out, since that's the usual form they come in. I'll fix that in a minute or two.
