Word Plugin: Support for ODT (or warning)

Hi there.

I've been using the .odt format through Word (it's supposed to be the Open Standard for word processing) and it works fine until you close it and reload. Then the citations are present but not editable. Would it be possible to either add support for .odt or else add a warning message when saving (or even just a note in the documentation) to say that .odt is not supported?

Regards,
Noel

Click on "Set Document Preferences" in the word plugin and set "Format Using..." to "Bookmarks".
You'll note that it does specify under "Fields" that the document needs to be saved as .doc or .docx

(generally I wouldn't recommend using .odt in Word unless you need to exchange frequently with LibreOffice users - the two formats don't translate perfectly - but of course that's up to you.)
  • Aha, I see the note now.
