Style Request: International Journal of Electronic Commerce

ktkarhu

Hei,

I couldn't find any existing style that would match the style guide of International Journal of Electronic Commerce.

If somebody could help with this, I would be very glad. Please find below the style example and information for the journal:

1. Campbell, J. L. and Pedersen, O. K. The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success. Comparative Political Studies, 40, 3 (2007), 307–332.

2. Mares, I. Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to employers? In, P. A. Hall & D. Soskice (ed./eds.), Varieties of Capitalism. The institutional foundations of comparative advantage, New York: Oxford University Press, 2001, pp. 184–213.

How about
ACM SIG Proceedings ("et al." for 15+ authors)

http://zotero.org/styles/acm-sig-proceedings-long-author-list

looks like that's identical at first glance at least.

ktkarhu

Thanks for a quick reply. Having a closer look at ACM SIG Proceedings style, it seems that there are at least the following differences:
-year is in the beginning after authors (should be at the end before pages)
-numbers are square bracketed in the references list (should be plain numbered list)
-Publisher is without city (should be City: Publisher)

adamsmith

OK, I'd suggest you work with ACM for the time being (you can switch once the correct style is available), will take me a while until I get to this, but I have it bookmarked.

ktkarhu

Thanks a lot. Will do that.

The style is now up. It will appear on the style repository within 30mins.. (See here if you need instructions for installing styles in standalone.)

Any problems please let us know.

ktkarhu

Thanks a lot. I will test it and report if any problems arise.

jftripp

This style mostly accurate. The bibliography is supposed to be sorted and numbered alphabetically, rather than by appearance in paper. Is there an easy way to fix this?

jftripp

I have added :

<sort>
<key macro="author"/>
<key variable="issued"/>
</sort>

Before the <Layout> tag,

But this hasn't seemed to impact the sorting.

jftripp

Actually, it seems to have worked. For some reason it only "applied" after I changed to a different style and went back, even though I'd "refreshed".

The style is now fixed. The updated version will appear on the repository within 30mins (check the timestamp). Update your copy of the style by clicking "Update Now" in the General tab of the Zotero preferences.

Styles also update automatically within 24hs for Zotero 4.0+
In an existing document, you may have to switch to a different style and back for the changes to take effect once the style is updated.
Any further problems please let us know & thanks for reporting
