I want my reference list to appear with norwegian words, not english...

Hi,
I have a problem when i import my bibliography into the zotero reference list in word.
I am writing a report in norwegian, but my referencelist in word appears in english.

I.E: A. Hindar and R. Roseth, “...” NIVA, Agder, 4642-2003, Feb. 2003.

The problem is that i want my references in Norwegian, as shown below - not english.

A. Hindar og R. Roseth, “...” NIVA, Agder, 4642-2003, Feb. 2003.

Are there any settings in Zotero where I can fix this?
  • Start here: http://www.zotero.org/support/supported_languages

    If your Firefox (Zotero for Firefox) or OS (Zotero Standalone) is in Norwegian, you shouldn't need to change anything. If it's not, you would.
  • also depends on the citation style - which style are you using?
  • Thanks!
    I changed the "extensions.zotero.export.bibliographyLocale to nb-NO - in tools->advanced->Open about:config.

    It worked :)

    adamsmith: im using IEEE as citation style.
  • @adamsmith, @Dan, by the way, I still think we need some way to mark styles without a set default-locale in the Zotero Style Repository. The easiest way would be to add something like "(Multilingual)" at the end of the style title. Alternatively, the repository could be spruced up to either allow styles to be filtered by their (lack of) default-locale, or mark up styles with flag icons (e.g. http://www.famfamfam.com/lab/icons/flags/ ).
  • Speaking from the MLZ corner, it would be good to save the term "multilingual" for (currently CSL-m) styles that render in multiple locales.
