Yes I have considered the first option.
Let me explain about my failure.
I have synced one of my accounts in Firefox. I have collected the references. I have exported RDF file and now I want to import it into the another account.
I tried with the preferences option. To sign in with another account. But it does not work. Could you please suggest?
You should not be attempting to switch accounts by changing sync credentials. That is not the same thing. (If the other account is empty, it should actually do what you want - i.e. merge the two libraries together - but it will be confusing and cause problems down the road)
you can't "sign in" with another account in Zotero - Zotero is an offline tool that syncs to the cloud, all data are local (the closest analogy I can think of is an e-mail client like thunderbird).
If you need two accounts on the _same_ computer, you'll have to work with different firefox profiles:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
Otherwise, just carry the Zotero.RDF to a new computer on a USB stick
I would like to transter references from my libary to the public group. The drag and drop does not work for all files and I have tried with exportation as Zotero RDF file and try to import again into the group libary. But it is not working. Any suggestions.
if drag&drop doesn't work, an older copy of the items already exists in the group, potentially in the trash. Find it, delete it, empty the trash, and then drag&drop will work. We'd need more details about what's not working with RDF to say more about that.
I'm not sure if you're asking the same question in multiple places? If so, please just keep one problem in one thread. Also, please don't use all caps.
that looks like an error report ID (only Dan and Simon have access to the actual messages, so I can't check) are you sure you followed the steps for a debug ID? The two are distinct.
I try to ask questions at one place but the issues were different so I was asking at different places.
1. Export error as i mentioned before.
2. How to transfer data from one's group library to another person account. How is it possible? For example, if I am in my account with zotero plugin or standalone, I can only see my library, my groups but not other people's shared groups even though I am a member with full access and authority. so how it is possible to drag and drop data from non-existing groups in my plugin of course they can be seen in the zotero account.
Yes I am the group member and the syncing happened. I am the member of other group who has been allowed to edit and manage the data. But I did not see that group I joined at the Group library of my zotero account.
Export all the data as Zotero RDF and then import it into the other account.
Create a group that both accounts are part of, transfer references to the group, sync, then transfer them to the other account from the group.

To use multiple accounts on the same computer you need to either use Zotero for Firefox and Zotero Standalone side by side _without_ a shared data directory, or use multiple Firefox/Zotero Standalone profiles. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data

You have a couple options:
Export all the data as Zotero RDF and then import it into the other account.
Create a group that both accounts are part of, transfer references to the group, sync, then transfer them to the other account from the group.
MY QUESTIONS AGAIN: how to transfer from the other's group info to my library or account?
If dragging to a group isn't working, see here for a longer answer:
https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/34323/copy-and-paste/#Item_2
but please continue the discussion in one of your threads.

Are you sure you're using the right terminology here? E.g. if you click on "Groups" at the top of this page, do you see the groups in question listed?
Sorry to bother you again.
http://www.zotero.org/support/groups#interact_with_groups_through_the_zotero_client
this is what you should see. Do you not see any groups there or are you just missing some groups? Make sure that the group libraries aren't just collapsed (the little arrow to the left of "group library")
I can see the group completely.
Many thanks.
But I could not still solve the issue of failure to export zotero pdf file. I have reported the error report ID.
Thanks again.
