Won't export to new library

I switched from Standalone to Firefox. I uninstalled my Standalone (Safari). But when I try to save to my new library, the info goes to my old one. The old one still opens in the pane. How do I get rid of that one and redirect the data?

    I don't really understand what you mean.

    First, Zotero Standalone and Zotero for Firefox share the same data directory by default, so unless you said no when it first asked, you'd get the same data in Standalone and Zotero for Firefox.

    But assuming they were pointing to different places, I still don't understand what you're trying to accomplish. How are you trying to save things? In Firefox, you mean? If you save in Firefox with Standalone closed, the data obviously goes into the Zotero pane in Firefox. If you save from Safari with Standalone closed, it would save to the server, and you'd have to sync in Firefox to get the new items.

    And if you switched from Standalone to Firefox, do you not want your library from Standalone in Firefox?

    Also, what exactly did you uninstall? Standalone itself, or the Safari plugin? If you want to use Zotero for Firefox exclusively, you'd want to uninstall both. But you'd want to make sure your data is where you expect it to be before doing so.
