Zotero links: Copy between libraries

I am attempting to copy a portion of my library to a group library, to share this with the other members of my group. While I'm able to copy references between libraries, the link paths are not copied. Is there some means to do this?

    no, file links don't work in groups at this time.

    Is it possible to convert links to text notes, so that group members can see the directory structure to linked files?

    hmmm - it could probably be done by scripting, but definitely not easily (let alone built in), no.
    Links for groups are likely to be implemented at some point in the future once relative links for groups are implemented, but I have no idea how soon that's going to be absent a 3rd party patch.
