World Cat "could not save item"

Error ID number: 1171160764

I am unable to save items from world cat, as well as the University of California library catalog.

My world cat subscription is through UC Santa Barbara, which may be the problem. The UCSB library web page can be accessed at http://pegasus.library.ucsb.edu/F/?func=find-b-0 and no items can be saved from it. The library's home page is http://www.library.ucsb.edu/

The same goes for world cat, which for me is through a proxy server at http://ucsb.worldcat.org/

I have tried the library catalogs of other universities and had no problems. I am running Windows 7 and Firefox.

the UCSB catalog (Pegasus) should now work -
Your version of Zotero will automatically update within 24hs, or you can update manually using the "Update Now" button in the "General" tab of the Zotero preferences.

The unproxied version of the above item works for me on UCSB's Worldcat, which will make this harder to troubleshoot, but we'll try. Could you provide a debug ID for an attempt to import that item from your worldcat?

Hi again,

I think I've done this correctly. I enabled debugging in the advanced menu, tried to save, got the error, and then clicked the "submit to server" button.

thanks. So we're getting the proxy twice in there. I don't know enough about the proxying to say whether that's Zotero or UCSB's doing - the translator leaves that part of the URL alone entirely, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Having an issue adding items from WorldCat. Report ID 262669863. I get a translator error on select items. This is happening with both WorldCat web and through the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County sites. Thanks.

Ugh. I don't see how this can be happening. Dan, any thoughts? We could have furinkazan install a custom translator with some debug code, but I doubt that this is happening inside the translator. Zotero and Firefox are up to date, right?
