Chicago Manual of Style (full note with bibliography)

Hello,

I am working on a project in a Zotero group that would like to cite items from our zotero.org library using the "Chicago Manual of Style (full note with bibliography)" output. However, this incorrectly formats citations in Chicago's bibliography style. For example, it uses the "Smith, John." rather than "John Smith," uses periods where there should be commas, etc.

When I select the "Chicago Manual of Style (full note with bibliography)" option in zotero for Firefox or Zotero standalone, I can also select "Output Mode" as Notes or Bibliography. Selecting Notes formats things correctly for a note, but I do not see a parallel option in zotero.org.

Am I missing something?

Further example:

From zotero.org:
Thornton, Stephen. “Trying to Learn (Politics) in a Data-Drenched Society: Can Information Literacy Save Us?” European Political Science 11, no. 2 (June 2012): 213–223. doi:10.1057/eps.2011.20.

From zotero standalone:
1. Stephen Thornton, “Trying to Learn (Politics) in a Data-Drenched Society: Can Information Literacy Save Us?,” European Political Science 11, no. 2 (June 2012): 213–223, doi:10.1057/eps.2011.20.

Thanks!
  • this currently isn't possible from zotero.org - the format there isn't incorrect, it's just the format for CMS bibliographies, not for notes.
