Possible to import an APA manual list?

One of my collaborators on a paper review project refuses to use a citation editor. She has generated 8 pages of references for our project (!!). Is there any way to import this into Zotero without having to go to Google Scholar, find each reference, and add them one by one? Can I add her list into an Excel sheet then import to Zotero? or....?
  • that's unfortunate. There is nothing great, though you can take a look at:
    http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/importing_formatted_bibliographies
If this is a correct APA bibliography, it should have DOIs for most items, you can take those and mass import them into Zotero using the add by identifier function.
  • Okay I'll try that. I've had poor luck in the past using DOIs or ISSNs. Frequently (and bizaarely!) I find it imports information for a totally different article, often out of bioscience.
  • ISSNs don't import at all - when they do, they're actually interpreted as PMIDs, hence the bioscience articles.
DOIs should almost always work and pretty much never produce false entries since they're unique.
