Style Request: Freshwater Science (FWS)

The two requested citations formatted in FWS format:

  • got it - will take a while. In the meantime, use Ecology, which is quite close.

  • It seems like Freshwater Science has a different style for submissions from the final papers. The version that is in the style repository matches the style used in the paper that @BenLabay used, namely that authors' names are given in all caps.

    But the author instructions which he also linked to say, "Do not type authors' names entirely in upper-case letters", and give examples with the authors' names in upper case and lower case letters, different from the style that is currently in the repository.

    I am going to use Ecology for the submission style for now since as @adamsmith said, it is pretty close.
  • Those aren't all caps, though - they are small caps (i.e. they still distinguish between capital and lowercase letters) and from a publisher perspective that should be just fine. I'd use the style on the repository.
