Where are the items saved ?

Can I set the default for saving ?

It helps us answer questions if you spend some time explaining what you actually want to do in some detail. One sentence is almost never sufficient. There are at least three different ways to interpret this question.

Right clicking on a web page gives the option Create Web Page Item from Current Page.
That is what I would call Save.
Then I want to control where the item is saved.

but "where" as in "where in Zotero"? "Where on your harddisk?" Why don't you just talk to us about what issue specifically you're trying to address?

Where means "which collection"
But since you also mention the HD, I wonder where Z is on the HD aswell

Items are saved into the currently selected collection.
