Editing multiple items

Is it possible to input or edit fields for multiple entries? Being new to Zotero, I'm having to input my bibliography (currently in Word) manually, and would find it very useful and time-saving if I could add information for certain fields (i.e. Language and Repository) for multiple items.

I'm not very technically-minded, so I apologize if there is guidance on this issue elsewhere that I have missed. Any help welcome!

There is no straightforward way to simultaneously add information to multiple items.

However, if there are some fields that are the same across a set of items you are imputing you can can enter the information on one item and duplicate that item, "Duplicate item" is a right click option. Then you can manually enter the distinct item information.

Batching editing is planned, but it may not happen for a while.

You can, however, assign tags to multiple items at once using the tag selector.

I would also very much appreciate this feature. It would be extremely useful for entering item reference numbers from archive sources.
