Zotero keeps crashing

Since I started using Zotero (which in general is great, by the way), I have been getting errors when I try to add new references (whether manually or by adding through JSTOR, for example). Sometimes the error message just says "An error has occurred"; sometimes it says that Zotero could not complete the action "due to a previous error." It always tells me to restart Firefox.

This happened only occasionally at first, but now I rarely am able to enter more than one reference before Zotero crashes on me. I thought upgrading to Firefox 3 might clean out the problem, but it's had no effect.

Any ideas? The error report number is 1200020694.
