EMBO reports citation style

I have installed citation style for EMBO reports from Zotero style repository. Inline citation looks good but bibliography style is different from guide for authors. Here's how it should look like:
Shih SC, Sloper-Mould KE, Hicke L (2000) Mono-ubiquitin carries a novel internalization signal that is appended to activated receptors. EMBO J 19: 187-198
And here’s how it looks like like in bibliography:
Shih SC, Sloper-Mould KE, Hicke L. Monoubiquitin carries a novel internalization signal that is
appended to activated receptors. EMBO J. 2000 Jan 17;19(2):187–98.
Can you explain me why is it different and how can we get the right citation style?
  • The style is now fixed. (not sure what happened there - maybe they changed their format?)

The updated version will appear on the repository within 30mins (check the timestamp). Update your copy of the style by re-installing it from the repository. (See here if you need instructions for installing styles in standalone.)

Styles should also update automatically within 24hs for Zotero 4.0+
In an existing document, you may have to switch to a different style and back for the changes to take effect once the style is updated.
Any further problems please let us know.

If you do submit to EMBO, suggest they point to this style (it can be used in Zotero as well as Mendeley and Papers) as an alternative to Endnote.
