In-text citation endnotes/footnotes

I am new to this forum but I am trying to determine why my in-text citation endnotes/footnotes are not showing up in full. I am specifically speaking to the standalone notes I created. In my word document I only see the first sentence of a note followed by "n.d." But the actual note may contain 4+ sentences. I don't want to manually update each note as I want to be able to refresh the notes later if changes are required from the plugin refresh button.

Please advise..

    you can't currently use notes in text that way. If you "cite" a note, Zotero treats it as a bibliographic item, with the first line or x characters as title.
    Unfortunately I can't think of a good way to achieve what you want to achieve.
