cursor jumps around and deletes parts of notes

While editing a note, the cursor likes to jump back to the beginning and delete parts of what I've written. This is massively irritating.

    does that also happen when you disable autosync in the sync tab of the Zotero preferences? (not permanently, but as a troubleshooting step)

    If you were editing in the external note window (as opposed to the right-hand pane) and this happened during auto-syncing, this should've been fixed in 4.0.10, released on August 10th. Make sure you're using the latest version.
