Attempts to install Zotero's LibreOffice extension fail. Zotero tries this every time I start Firefox. Zotero script tells me an error occurred and to be sure LibreOffice is closed and restart Firefox.

I have a fresh install of Zotero Firefox extension. Years ago I installed a much earlier version, but never learned to use it, and I don't remember when/how it was uninstalled. I suppose that there should be no old files messing things up.
Windows 7, 64 bit
Firefox 22 and LibreOffice 4.0.4.2 are up to date

It seems that that finally worked, only the on the last trick. Quite an arduous process. One wonders how Oracle got to be such a powerful company, if their care of Java is representative of their practices.
