Eliminating "Z" in the upper left part of the screen...?
How do I eliminate the Zotero symbol "Z" in the upper left part of my screen? It has recently appeared there and is causing all sorts of problems. For instance, when I attempt to send e-mail, my Zotero database jumps into view, for no good reason that I can see. I also have a letter "Z" in the lower right side of the screen in the Add-on bar. This one I want to keep.
I am running Firefox 22. Could that be the problem?

I have no keyboard shortcut that I am aware of. As I said, when I press "Send" in my e-mail server, ("Send" is likely superimposed on this little "Z", because I load Firefox first and then I move to my e-mail server) the Zotero database jumps into view, and it seems to be attributable to the present of this new "Z" under the e-mail screen. My e-mail gets sent, but then I am faced with having to exit Zotero, which I did not call up in the first place.
Could my version of Firefox be the cause? Or, is the latest version of Zotero the cause? I really do not need this "Z" in the upper left of the screen. I already have a letter "Z" on the lower right of the screen in the Add-on bar.
Thank you for your help.

Can you post a screenshot and provide the link here? http://imgur.com

Can I send a screen shot to another location? I cannot get the location you mention above to work for me.

I've uploaded a screen shot to IMAGRSHACK. How will you find it? Do I need to give you more information? I called the file ZoteroUpperLeft.jpg. Enlarge it and look at the upper left just below the menu bar on Firefox

If it is, then look to the upper left, just below the tool bar. It's that symbol that is causing the problem.
Thank you. I don't know how that happened because I rarely make changes to my "preferences," and I know that I did not make any changes in that area recently. Hmmm? In any case, thank you very much. This is really a very helpful list.
