Zotero showing in two languages, very annoying....

I installed the Mac standalone version of Zotero, and its showing both English and Norwegain (I'm an American living in Norway), at the same time. Some of the commands are in English, and the others are in Norwegian. I couldn't find a preference setting for "language", so can anyone help me on this? I'd like it to be in English, not Norwegian.
None of the other database type of programs I use have this problem, or academic software. Why does Zotero do this?

Also, the plug in extension for Safari does not work. It is grey in the menu bar even though in Safari preferences it says it is active..... any suggestions?
