Upgrade StorageUpdate Zotero citation, then Word converts document to pages and pages of numbers/symbols
Hi,
I have been using Zotero on a 36 page paper and durign two recent times after updating a n endnote using the Zotero plug-in for Word, the whole document converts to either symbols or numbers. I am pretty sure this is connected to Zotero since it happens right after I update a citation. I had my work backed-up, so I could revert back to a copy. But now I need to send the document to other people to review, and when they open it up (on Macs, same thing I am using), they get pages and pages of numbers. Given that I already experienced this on my computer using Zotero, I am pretty sure this is linked to the problem when I send it out. On my home computer, it's still visible. I need people to be able to make changes in Word, so converting it to a readable pdf isn't an option.

SimonDo you have the latest version of Word? This sounds like http://word.mvps.org/mac/asterisksbug.html

kschaffThanks Simon! I have the Word 2011 version so I will try this update and see if it helps. I really appreciate the advice!
