Turabian styles are very similar to the Zotero style labeled Chicago Manual of Style. My understanding is that Turabian _is_ CMoS reference style (perhaps, "CMoS lite") but without the instructions concerning word usage and other factors and guidelines for the process of document writing and publishing that are in the much larger guidebook. The CMoS is almost a writer's bible with rules and guidance on all aspects of writing for publication while the Turabian book is a smaller subset of the larger manual -- a simple, short guide for formatting references and citations. The CMoS book is more than 1000 pages while the Turabian Manual has only 400 (or so) pages.

Turabian's manual is for students. Ask your instructor if you can use the CMoS 16 citation style.
  • We have a Turabian style on the repository, though.
