about aps and acs journals
Hi,
I am using the standalone version of Zotero 4.0.9 with the connector
for chromium browser in linux.
I can retrieve pdf files and metadata from most of the journals from
acs except for Journal of Chemical Physics (JCP). What I have to do is to
download manually the pdf file and then attach it to the item in
zotero list.
Some times when I try to download the metadata from JCP the zotero connector does not respond (stops working) and the small box with the
label "save to zotero" stays without doing anything.
Another thing, when I try journals from APS some times I can download the metadata and the pdf file but other times I can download the metadata only.
Is it possible to fix these two issues with ACS and APS.
Thanks a lot.

here is the URL of a JCP article where the connector doesn't work:
http://jcp.aip.org/resource/1/jcpsa6/v134/i17/p174105_s1
about APS journals:
in this URL I am able to get the metadata but not the pdf file:
http://prl.aps.org/abstract/PRL/v97/i10/e108101
for this URL I am able to get both metadata and pdf files:
http://prl.aps.org/abstract/PRL/v96/i22/e228104
thanks.
these are the URLs I copied from omnibox of Chromium.
I am not using a proxy.
thanks.
Edit: yeah, I don't think this can be done, but maybe Aurimas has an idea.
I think for ACS, there is _sometimes_ a sort of CAPTCHA that comes up when trying to download PDFs. I can't reproduce it right now, but I remember looking into this and I could not figure out what triggered the CAPTCHA (since cookies should be ok). I'll investigate this further.
