Which items are tagged ?

I can see the list of tags but not which items are tagged
  • 1. click on a a tag from the list and all of the ones with that tag will appear in the center pane.

    2. click on an item in the center pane, then on the tag tab in the right pane to see which tags that item has

    3. for a visual representation of tags in the center pane, you can use the color coded tags (max of 6). (Right click tab in tag pane then select color).

2: since there is no indication which items are tagged, it is necessar to click each item one by one until I arrive to an item that has tag.
Is there no more simple procedure ?

3: I could not find a description on this in the Documentation.
Right clicked in tag pane on anything there (f ex the tab) - no context menu.
  • 2. Using that procedure, yes.

    3. Are you right clicking in the left-hand pane that has the list of all tags? (_not_ the right-hand pane with all the tabs)

    ok, thanks-
But can you sort collections by tags (in My Library) ?
  • could you step back a little and explain what you're trying to do in a bit more detail? I'm not sure I understand.
  • IIRC, PinaColada's now-edited post was asking about having "tags" being one of options for sorting the middle pane. I.e. Tags somehow have their own column (+/-; or number). It was a little cryptic yesterday and a bit more cryptic today, although I think he might have been trying to clarify things.

Dan, if I were you, I would just delete the Zionranger from my thread.
I certainly want to keep my thread nice and clean.
But let's get back to work:

Arggem is close to guess what I mean.
We agree that My Library can be sorted by different criteria f ex alphabetically, by date etc. But not by tag. I can see which items are tagged because I use the color tagging. It would be nice to have them collected in one group so to speak.
For ex: suppose the list ABCDEF has items B and D and F tagged
The new list would be BDF ACE
  • yeah, that's not possible. The closest you can do is to create a saved search for
    Tag --> Contains --> %
(% is a wildcard) which will include all tagged items. Obviously you can reverse the search to show all items that aren't tagged.
