Language switches?

I am working on a fairly lenghty dissertation and keep chapters in separate Word documents. However, I've noticed that the citation style alter between Danish (which I'd prefer) and English in the different documents? How can I make sure to keep a Danish style in ALL documents?

    Chicago Manual (full note). However, I think the problem is caused by the fact that I've edited a lot of my citations using the editor.
