Limiting listed authors in bibligoraphy entry, and adding et al for more than limit.
We have publishers that are requesting the bibliography to be listed with a maximum of 4 author names, and if there are more, to add et al. I can't see anywhere that explains how to do this, or how to easily customise the style preferences. Is there an easy way to do this?

www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step
explains how to customize citation style in general. It includes instructions for customizing et-al for in-text citations. The instructions for bibliographies are analogous, except that you change the et-al settings in the line starting with <bibliography
I'll give it a go.

I can see the et al min and first editable section but there is no identical code for bibliography. Instead it goes right into "<bibliography hanging-indent="true" entry-spacing="0" line-spacing="1">"
Perhaps I have to add a line. I will try it but if there is a differen way or line I am missing let me know.
Thanks
