saving and importing zotero library

Hi, my computer suddenly went bad.Before that, I couldn't export the zotero library, I tried doing that , but it was taking ages to export. I see there is only a rdf file which is exported, not the ris file. Is there any way to retrieve my library ? I don't know where it was saving or if saving at all in the older computer. Thanks in advance.

    first thing to check would be if you find an old version of your library:
    http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data
    RDF files exported from Zotero would work, too, but that's a second best solution.
