SOME GENERAL ISSUES
I had zotero working fine until I had a hard drive crash. Now I'm working on a new Mac Book Pro with Mountain Lion.
I was working with the Firefox version (not the standalone). It required Firefox to be open.
Would the Stand Alone version enable me to make citations working in Word without Firefox being open?
After restoring my files, I found my Library, but several important groups seem to be missing :(
I would like to try to find the missing bibliography data. Where does Zotero store data?
Any hints would be MOST welcome.

Is there a way to rebuild a group from a paper with a bibliography?
Also, I'm not getting Zotero to work. I get no Zotero button on the bottom of Firefox, and the Zotero icon in the Word bar doesn't open a citation window from Word.
I'm all messed up. Should I delete Zotero from Applications and try reloading. Does Zotero need to be uninstalled?

if you run Standalone you also need Zotero for Firefox
99 times out of 100 reinstalling the same version makes no difference.
What does THAT mean?
