UI font config
Hello,
I would like to change the UI font of Zotero standalone.
I'm running the latest version (installed just today) on openSUSE 12.3 x86_64 on KDE. In my KDE system I've enabled subpixel hinting for the font and configured it to use DejaVu Sans.
Now, I'd like zotero to use the same settings. Especially the subpixel hinting. Sadly, I cannot find an option to change the font config. (Except, of course, for the font size setting in the general tab of the settings dialog.) I've also looked through the about:config settings. But, there are too many settings related to fonts, and I'm not sure what I can safely touch there. I googled around for far too long, but couldn't find anything helpful.
It might be related to the firefox like internals of zotero standalone. Because, the firefox browser that is installed on my system has the same issue. I'm using Chrome. So, the font appearance in firefox is not so important. But, I would like to fix it in zotero.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Beyond that, in general you can change fonts in Zotero by (creating and) editing the chrome/userChrome.css file in the profile directory, adding CSS rules, and restarting Zotero. You can certainly change the font itself that way. It looks like there was a non-standard CSS property to control font smoothing at one point, but it doesn't look like it's supported.
