missing style: "past and present"

This is a very popular history jouranl. I find some similarity with the style of "Irish Historical Studies,"

many thanks for your help.
  • My apologies for the delay.

    Style is found in

I cannot give here the examples as I don't manage to write italics in this form
  • italics can be written using html tags (<i>italics</i>) and selecting "Format comments as Html" below the text box.
  • Here are the two examples. Please note that the name should appear as in the original publication, I'v esen only the book, so I left the initials in the journal article. Also notice that page numbers should appear only if referring to part of the article.
    many thanks,
    Shaul

  • great, that will do. Won't be super quick, though
  • The style is now up. It will appear on the style repository within 30mins.. (See here if you need instructions for installing styles in standalone.)

Any problems please let us know.
  • Many thanks!
I've just now seen that you added the style.
I've see two mismatches, though. The journal does not ask for page numbers for articles and chapter, only for particular sections. In the latter case withut "p." or "pp." (I think that the latter case is fine now).
The name of the university does not appear in theses - should be before the type. No need for place in those citations.
    Could you fix those?

A more general question - writing a footnote the dot at the end of the references is often disturbing. Is it possible to make it elective,

    thaks again,
    Shaul
  • I'll take a look - no to the periods, though - in most cases I'd suggest handling footnotes using prefix and suffix.
  • Hi Adam,
I've found another small problem with thesis. This is rather tricky as they ask to follow the original vesrion, e.g. :(Univ. of Oxford D.Phil. thesis, 1985) but (Harvard Univ. Ph.D. thesis, 2002). Anyway now the university isn't mentioned at all. Could you fix also that?

    many thanks,
    Shaul
  • The style is now fixed. The updated version will appear on the repository within 30mins (check the timestamp). Update your copy of the style by clicking "Update Now" in the General tab of the Zotero preferences.

Styles also update automatically within 24hs for Zotero 4.0+
In an existing document, you may have to switch to a different style and back for the changes to take effect once the style is updated.
Any further problems please let us know & thanks for reporting
