need Harvard book titles to be Italics

I need a Harvard (or Author-Date) style which will output all book names in Italics in the Bibliography. I just looked at a style editor programme and see that this should happen anyway. Have I overlooked something or is there an option for this in the Zotero (Standalone) program?

  • I'm not quite sure I understand the question. Some author date styles italicize book titles, others don't. Chicago Manual of Style (author-date), e.g., does.
  • Thanks again for solving my problem. I have previously used Chicago (full note) and remember that it does italicize book titles.
I was trying to find a style for Zotero which would be equivalent to the version of Harvard as used by Dublin City University and in their Refworks offering. http://www.library.dcu.ie/classes_and_tutorials/citing.shtml
I will write to them to see if they can produce one for Zotero.
I tried a few Harvard styles in Zotero (including Harvard-Limerick) but none of them outputted book titles in italics. I then tried to edit one using your suggested editing program but noticed that italics were reported as being already present in the style. This puzzled me.
I had not considered Chicago (author-date) as I was thinking only of Harvard variants. Thanks again for your help.
