Upgrade Storagefirefox extension donesn't connet to the standalone application
Originally firefox extension plus the standalone application worked as expected on my mac. After I installed the safari extension tonight, however, the firefox extension stopped connecting to the standalone application. Now when I try to add a paper to zotero, it will be added to zotero firefox, rather than to the standalone application.
Reinstallations of the extension and application did not help (with or without the safari extension). The safari extension works fine with zotero though.
Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks a lot!

Open Firefox. In Zotero (Firefox extension) go to Preferences... -> Advanced -> Files and Folders. Click Show Data Directory. Based on what you describe above, it should be different from what you saw in Zotero Standalone. If it is, Go back to the Preference window. Under Data Directory Location, select Custom and Choose the directory that Zotero Standalone uses.
