Linking with Word Processing

I have read the quick user guide and it looks great with regard to organizing research. However, ideally I would like a tool that took me into and through the writing and publishing stage. That is: I would like to start to write, perhaps starting with an outline, and then add in quotes, notes, references, and the like, without having to use a whole new program. Can Zotero do this? Or: any ideas?

We are close to releasing a alpha version of a template that will allow word integration. This will probably bring Zotero a lot closer to what you are looking for.
