Affiliation superscript gets incorporated along with first name.

Using CSA Illumina to search PsycInfo, authors' school affiliations are displayed in superscripts after their middle initial (e.g., Jordan, Hester C.1). The superscript gets incorporated along with the first name field when the citation is added, leading to funky formatted citation output (e.g., Jordan, Hester C. 1). Would it be possible to check for the superscript tag and filter that out of the name?
