'Advanced Search' does not work

Despite entering search items that I know exist, i.e. various tag words, and words contained within the title, the advanced search does nothing. It does not even say that it can't find anything matching that search.

Has anyone come across this before?

    The Advanced Search window accessible via the toolbar button searches your personal library. Currently, if you want to use advanced search within group libraries, you have to create a saved search by right-clicking on the library and choosing New Saved Search. (This limitation will be addressed at some point.)

    You can use the quick search bar and tag selector within group libraries without creating a saved search.
