United Nations style

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a citation style plugin for the United Nations Editorial style, described here: http://69.94.137.26/editorialcontrol/ and here: http://69.94.137.26/editorialcontrol/ed-guidelines/footnotes/footnotes_index.htm

I am a former UN intern and I noticed that every intern struggled with the citation style. I would be glad to speak to my former boss and see if he'd be willing to make Zotero the default citation manager for his interns (a total win-win) but I need to be able to show him how it works and that it's ready to be 'dropped in'

Can someone help me create the style?

Thanks,

Jay
  • A good start would be to find a citation style that is close to what you are looking for. You can try using the search by example feature of the CSL visual editor.

Once you find it, you can either use the visual editor to tweak it, or you can do it by editing the CSL manually. We'll be happy to help with any questions.

If you feel like this is too difficult, I might be interested in taking this up. But it would still be very helpful to find a style that's similar.
  • (we have an UNCTAD and CEPAL/ECLAC style - are those similar?)
