Backup - But I can't find my Zotero directory

I want to back up my Zotero library, but the direction in FAQ don't work for me. I use Windows XP Home. There is no applications or Mozilla folder under my user name (or all users) under documents and settings. Under Programs, I have folders for both Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird, but nothing that's just Mozilla. Under the Firefox profiles, I only have book marks, and nothing for Zotero. Clearly it's somewhere, because I use it and it works. Any suggestions on where I might look? Thanks.

Applications data is a hidden file, so it might be, um...hidden.

Go to tools in the Explorer you use for navigating the files and folders on your hard drive (not to be confused with IE (ewww, why would you want that? We are FireFoxFreaks here...but that's another story.)

Anyhow,

tools
folder options
view

A few lines down is a section on Hidden files and folders.

Make sure the option "Show hidden files and folders" is selected.

click apply...

then look for your Library again.

If you still can't find it...check back.
