Zotero ODBC/JDBC link with SGBD

Hi,

I've read that you can link Zotero to OO with ODBC.
What I'm interested in, is to link Zotero with an SGBD (M. Access, SQL Server, Oracle, JMap, ...).
This guy http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/978/; said he used Christian Werner's ODBC for sqlite. Knowing that, could I use de same ODBC driver to make a link with a SGBD (particularly Oracle)?

Thanks

Nalfein
  • All the person on that thread did (as far as I can tell) was access Zotero's SQLite database file on disk using an ODBC SQLite driver from within OpenOffice (before Zotero's OO plugin was available). This didn't have anything to do with the Zotero app itself. Zotero uses the built-in SQLite support in Mozilla and doesn't use ODBC. There are no plans to add support for other database engines.

Server-based syncing is in private beta, however, and there will be ways to access that server-based data from other clients using various APIs.
