Advance Search should also filter "Indexed"

In the "Advanced Search" "Indexed" should be one of the variables in the left hand drop box. It should test for values (Yes, No, Partially).

Example: I was trying to find all the pdf files which did not get "Indexed" at all. All these files of mine were page images in a pdf wrapper from JSTOR. There was no text all. I wanted to tag the files for possible replacement since I acquired them years ago and OCR technology has improved greatly. I'd suspect that many of these would now be full text.

In my case the Advanced Search filter that I wanted to use was:
Indexed is No

Indexed (is, is not) (Yes, No, Partially)
  • we appreciate your enthusiasm, but I'd ask you that for feature requests you spend a minimum of 15mins searching the forum before posting them. I don't think people with questions or bug reports need to invest that time, but feature requests are different. E.g. searching for "find unindexed files" will lead you to this:

    and various other related threads.
  • The link above offers a multi-step workaround. A straightforward search option would be great. I, too, would like to find easily the many unindexed items in my library to determine which ones can be converted to searchable text. Better yet, it would be useful to have an optional column showing which attachments have been indexed.
