URI & URL
I know the two are "technically" different, but is there any reason to have both used in Zotero?
For example if you add a journal article, the you can add a "URL" link, which would most appropriately be used to link to a source of the article.
However if I have a Zotero item for a journal article, then I can right click on the item and "Add Attachment / Attach Link to URI".
I know its a twit. But is there any real need for the two different labels? Couldn't it be "Add Attachment / Attach Link to URL" ?

This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Before commenting here, you should strongly consider starting a new discussion instead. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
I also think that "Link to URL" or "Link to URI" is a somewhat redundant statement. IMO "Attach a URL..." would be sufficient.
We'll see what Dan has to say about this.
