pdf downloaded with citation, but not found
I am on Zotero 4.0.8 Standalone with Windows 7 and using Chrome. Am new to Zotero. I have saved a citation to Zotero from Chrome. In Chrome, it indicates that the citation and the associated article have been downloaded. In Zotero, the citation shows up, and the attachment pdf shows up.
But when I double-click on the pdf file, a window pops up that it cannot find the pdf file. (I can link to it online).
An alternative option also does not work: download the pdf file manually, double click on the pdf file attachment that is already in Zotero from the above step, in the little window that says it cannot find the file, use the "Locate" option, then open the manually downloaded file. When I reclick on the pdf file attachment in Zotero, I still get the window that says it cannot locate the file.
What am I doing wrong?
