Renumbering citations after deleting one
Hi guys, sorry for asking a dumb question when I really should be able to find the answer for myself but am late for an assignment and would really appreciate the help. I am a new zotero user.
Am using zotero on win7 pro, firefox with word 2013.
I have a doc with several citations in it, but want to delete the first one. If I just select the text with the reference in and delete it, and the click zotero refresh, I thought the remaining references would be renumbered and the corresponding citation in the bibliography would be deleted. However this does not happen - the remaining citations in the document itself now start at 2, and the deleted citation is still present in the bibkiography. Is all this supposed to update automagically as word's built in reference manager would do, or am I doing something wrong?
Would really really appreciate quick help!
Many thanks
Jon
