Style Request - Aquatic Living Resources
I would like to have a CSL style for “Aquatic Living Resources” journal.
Would it be possible for someone to create it for me?
You can find the author instruction and EndNote style on page below:
http://www.alr-journal.org/action/displayMoreInfo?jid=ALR&type=ifc
The close style already existing is: Deep-Sea Research Part I
See below list of differences between Aquatic Living Resources references (ALR ref.) and Deep-Sea Research Part I references (DPRPI ref.)
Common differences for all references types:
- There is a comma between name and first names in DPRPI ref. but not in ALR ref., only a comma after first names for ALR ref.
- There is a comma after year in ALR ref. instead of a dot in DPRPI ref.
1) Journal articles example:
ALR => Chae D.R., Pascoe S., 2005, Use of simple bioeconomic models to estimate optimal effort levels in the Korean coastral flounder fisheries. Aquat. Living Resour. 18, 93-101.
DPRPI => Chae, D.R., Pascoe, S., 2005. Use of simple bioeconomic models to estimate optimal effort levels in the Korean coastral flounder fisheries. Aquat. Living Resour. 18, 93-101.
2) Books:
Reference to a book:
- There is a dot after the book title in ALR ref. instead of a comma in DPRPI ref.
- If there is information of the edition (first, second, third edition etc.) there is comma after this information in ALR ref. instead of a dot in DPRPI ref.
- In ALR ref, city of publisher appears before the publisher name, it’s the contrary in DPRPI ref. (publisher name before city name).
ALR => Strunk Jr. W., White E.B., 1979, The Elements of Style. Third edition, New York, Macmillan.
DPRPI => Strunk Jr., W., White, E.B., 1979. The Elements of Style, third ed. Macmillan, New York.
Reference to a chapter in an edited book:
- There is a dot after the chapter title in ALR ref. instead of a comma in DPRPI ref.
- So there is a capital letter for “In:” text before the book title in ALR ref. instead of a small letter “in:” in DPRPI ref.
(publisher name before location).
ALR => Mettam G.R., Adams L.B., 1999, How to prepare an electronic version of your article. In: Jones B.S., Smith R.Z. (Eds.), Introduction to the Electronic Age, New York, E-Publishing Inc., pp. 281–304.
DPRPI => Mettam, G.R., Adams, L.B., 1999. How to prepare an electronic version of your article, in: Jones, B.S., Smith, R.Z. (Eds.), Introduction to the Electronic Age. E-Publishing Inc., New York, pp. 281–304.
For example, see references of this free access article: http://dx.doi.org/10.1051/alr/2012012
If you need more precision do not hesitate.
Thanks in advance for your help.
