Synced tags wrongly claim "no items found"
After syncing I immediately see recently added tags in the online library (bottom left).
However, when clicking on almost any tag the main online library interface says "no items found" as search result. Only a handful of tags are actually linked to documents the way they are in my offline zotero (firefox).
Any idea why the tags aren“t syncing properly?

dstillmanAt the moment, you might need to restart your browser for the tags on the website to update properly.

jlvaughn1I'm having this same problem. While my tag names appear in the online library at the bottom left, when I click on ANY/ALL tags the interface says "no items found." I've tried restarting the browser. I've tried accessing from another device (iPad). I've even tried to reset my sync so that my standalone library replaces the data in the online library. None of these have worked. Any suggestions?

adamsmithDo you have the tags you try working locally?
-
jlvaughn1Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, all of my tags work correctly in the standalone. Is that what you mean?
-
adamsmithyeah. fcheslack will have to look at that. If you don't hear back, post a reminder next week.

jlvaughn1Ok, sounds good! Thanks for your help!

fcheslackHave you added any of the tags to the top level items (as opposed to the attachments)?

jlvaughn1Thanks for your reply. Sorry for the delay in mine, I've been away from my project for a bit. Most, if not all, of the tags are on child notes rather than top level items. Do you think that is the issue? I will try adding tags to the top level items and see if that works. Thanks again.

fcheslackIt's a current limitation of the website library. It generally provides a window onto top level items, with child attachments and notes only exposed through their parents.
