Zotero not refreshing anymore

Hi,

I merged nine documents of my dissertation with two different citation styles (American Sociological Association and American Psychological Association 6th edition). Since then, I made some changes and am trying to have one citation style for the entire document (American Sociological Association). Unfortunately, this does not fully work. Zotero gives me this error message:
"this.registry[id].disambig.givens"
If I try to change the citation style again, previously deleted citations are added to the document. Contrary to the American Sociological Association Style, which I chose, new citations with three authors are always listed as "et al.", instead of listing their three names.
I am using Word 2003, Firefox version 20.0.1 and Zotero version 4.0.6.
I really hope that there is a way to fix this problem.

Thank you very much in advance, Sarah

this sounds like the source of the problem.
    Try running through these:

The processor error (on "this.registry[id].disambig.givens") should not be happening. I've now fixed the processor so that it can't. In addition to the steps recommended by adamsmith, try installing this processor patch plugin, and see if you get better results. All the plugin does is swap in the latest version of the citation processor. It can be removed after the next Zotero version is released.
  • I am having the same problem. It seems I cannot install the add-on fix in the standalone version of zotero? It says it is not compatible.

It seems I can get it to somewhat work by repeatedly clicking update. At some point it will work. But this is quite annoying and I cannot make multiple citations anymore.

I worked briefly on this document in word 2013. Could that have caused the problem? There was a recent update to zotero so I was wondering if that was the cause too.
  • Update: I can insert multiple references but only if I de-select "keep sources sorted"
  • that appears to be a bug with the classic view of the word plugin. Adding multiple sources with the quick format bar should still work:
