Proxies not working

I am new to zotero and when i log into my schools library, it does NOT ask me to save this proxy. I have messed with the settings in Preferences but have still been unsuccessful.

I need help and some suggestions that would help.

Currently, the first two boxes under the proxies tab is checked.

    we'd need to see a proxied URL for any resource.

    After I log into my schools library, I can access most Journals. For example when I click on ProQuest, I get the following URL: http://search.proquest.com.proxy1.cl.msu.edu/?accountid=12598

    I figure it out, mostly. I am not sure what was wrong, but i used a friends computer, who had everything set up, and just compied the scheme and hostnames.

    ok, good. This should have worked automatically - that's a very standard proxy - I don't know why it didn't.
