Uploading pubs from Zotero to LinkedIn

I was just wondering whether anybody has ever stumbled across a way to import references into LinkedIn from Zotero. LinkedIn has had this publications feature for a while now, but has not provided a way to import sets of references. But maybe somebody here has heard of (or can think of) a work-around solution? I would be grateful for any ideas.

LinkedIn has an API, so someone could write a plugin to import Zotero data to LinkedIn:

That said, LinkedIn doesn’t support many fields, so any import is likely to be incomplete or messy. It’s really not designed for academic publications.

LinkedIn doesn’t seem to have much overlapping user base with Zotero, so I doubt this would ever be built into Zotero itself.
